We at Calvary Chapel of Hope are aware that some in the church have misused their position in a way that has resulted in sinful financial abuse. God is not a pauper who needs people to manipulate and beg for money to support His work.
We believe that where God guides God provides. One way God has moved us to demonstrate this truth is that from its inception we at Calvary Chapel of Hope do not take a formal offering in our services. We do however believe it is God's will for every Christian to worship Him in giving financially a tithe of their gross income as well as an offering. Freely we have received from the Lord and freely we should give where He directs us to give. Because of this we provide an opportunity for giving to those involved with this ministry. Please do not take what you would give to your local congregation to give to this ministry. It is God's will that you give your tithe to your local church. What you give to any other ministry should be above and beyond that. God loves a cheerful giver. We pray God would bless you with a heart that is cheerful to give and joyful in giving.
