About us
In the summer of 1996, Calvary Chapel of Spokane was given the wonderful opportunity to assist with its first overseas church-plant with Calvary Chapel Church Planting Mission. Tim Mattox was the pastor the Lord raised up to lead this new church in the area of Moscow, Russia called Kashirskaya. Since this time, Calvary Chapel of Spokane has continued to work with Tim, either with further evangelism and outreach, or through prayer and encouragement.
Tim has grown in many ways as a new pastor over the last few years and God continues to use him to protect, nurture, and shepherd this group of Russian believers.
Ministry continues to advance, so that along with two weekly Bible Studies, the Kashirshkaya church is reaching out through street evangelism, through a Cancer Hospital ministry, and through a homeless shelter. Darlene has been a great assistant in these endeavors.
Tim and Darlene have been married for 7 years now. They have three children, Alissa, Abby, and Emma.
