`SEVEN WAYS TO WITNESS'

I. - GOD LOVES YOU 1) Come to Seek Lu 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. 2) GOD so Loved Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV) 3) GOD Commends his Love Ro 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 4) GOD Reconciles his Enemies Ro 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (KJV) 5) Gave Himself Gal 1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: 6) Sent his Son 1Jn 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. II. - THE REALITY OF SIN 1) None are Just Ecc 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. (KJV) 2) The Heart is Deceitful Jer 17:9-10 9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings. (KJV) 3) Man's Righteousness is Filthy Rags Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. 4) None Righteous Ro 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 5) All have Sinned Ro 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 6) Deceive ourselves 1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. (KJV) III. - THE WAGES OF SIN 1) The Soul that sin Dies Eze 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. 2) Wages of Sin is Death Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) 3) Give an Account to GOD Ro 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. 4) Death then Judgement Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV) 5) Sin brings forth Death Jas 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. 6) Dead are Judged by Deeds done Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. IV. - MAN'S WEAKNESS IN MAKING THINGS RIGHT WITH GOD 1) Man's Way ends in Death Prov 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (KJV) 2) Man's Righteousness is Filthy Rags Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away. 3) No Flesh Justified Ro 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 4) Man's Works not Acceptable Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. (KJV) 5) Faith and not Works Eph 2:8-9 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. 6) Not by Works of Righteousness Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; (KJV) V. - GOD ABILITY IN MAKING THINGS RIGHT 1) Seek the Lost Lu 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. 2) Jesus, The Way Jn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 3) No Salvation by any other Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. 4) Jesus Died for us Ro 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 5) Gift of GOD Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) 6) Jesus Died for our sins 1Cor 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; VI. - MAN'S RESPONSIBILITY TO THIS INFORMATION 1) Believe on his name Jn 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 2) Repent Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; (KJV) 3) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (KJV) 4) Repent and have Faith Acts 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. 5) Confess Jesus, Believe Ro 10:9-10 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 6) Call on the name of the Lord Ro 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. VII. - RESULTS OF SALVATION 1) Not Condemned Jn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) 2) Everlasting Life Jn 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV) 3) Peace of Jesus Jn 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (KJV) 4) Spirit of GOD in us Ro 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (KJV) 5) Children and Heirs of GOD Ro 8:16-17 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (KJV) 6) New Creature 2Cor 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 7) Name in the Book of Life Phil 4:3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
